Sydné Marie Chesson

Sydné Marie Chesson (she/her) is an actress, writer, and vocalist with roots in both Atlanta, GA, and Washington, DC. A born storyteller, she found her love for acting at the age of 12 and began training at some of the region’s most respected institutions, including Studio Theatre and Theatre Lab in DC. Her passion for the craft led her to continue her studies in New York at AMDA and Stella Adler, where she deepened her commitment to truthful, grounded performance.

Sydné Marie has appeared in a range of student films, plays, and independent projects, bringing sensitivity, humor, and emotional nuance to each role. Equally at home in front of the camera and on stage, she thrives in intimate character-driven work and ensemble environments. With additional training in musical theatre and the guidance of her vocal coach, she continues to expand her artistry through voice, movement, and storytelling.

Beyond acting, Sydné Marie is a dedicated screenwriter whose work spans thriller, romantic comedy, and dramedy. She gravitates toward stories that explore complex women, unexpected humor, and the quiet chaos of modern life. Her goal is to create work that feels both deeply human and deeply entertaining, whether she’s performing it or writing it.

When she's not on set or behind the page, you can find her discovering new cafes, enjoying time with her family, and dog Harley or revisiting her favorite classic films.
